When showing off and describing excitedly to my co-workers, young and old, the response was one of tousling an elated 3-year-old's hair. Some of these people have formerly been VERY into music and some even into high-end audio, too. But it occurred to me that it is a rare thing for people, including audio geeks who purport to love music, to positively gush about about a genuinely new release. Even about music that is new in terms of style within the last 30 years.
