Although I'm new here, I'm not new to the world of hi-fi. So here's a little introduction.
My name is Bob. I reside in Niagara Falls NY and I'm retired. I've long been an admirer of quality audio gear and I really enjoy music. My favorite is classic rock, but I can listen to all kinds of music. I've upgraded my system over the years to the point where I'm really satisfied and don't feel the need to change anything. If it's ok, I'll list my current gear:
Amp. Audio Research VT100.
PreAmp. Audio Research LS15
DAC. Theta DSPro Basic IIIa
Transport. Theta Data Basic
Speakers. ProAc Response 2.5
Cables & interconnects. Audioquest Argent+ cables(bi-wired). Audioquest Lapis interconnects(balanced).
Theta time link conditioner jitter reducer with Illuminati interconnects between the DAC and the transport.
Everything except the amp is plugged into a power wedge 114.
All of these components were purchased either through personal auditions or reading reviews from Stereophile.
No turntable yet, but I'm looking into it.
Let me say one thing , the ProAc's and VT100 & LS15 are a match made in heaven.
I hope this is the correct forum for this and if it's not I apologize.
I hope I'll be able to contribute more, but for now I'm just gonna browse the forums and feel my way around.
