Hi everyone--
I am trying to set up a last-minute audio system for an upcoming wedding...my daughter's. I thought I could use what I already have (a tuner and set of KLH AV-5001 speakers) but realize it probably isn't going to cut it. I was also given a second-hand karaoke system (Singing Machine 1028N) but it never worked right since I got it last week. When it was working, the sound was pretty horrible.

It's an outdoor wedding. What I need is something to be able to play a song as the bride enters, and after the ceremony play a few dance songs. It would be nice to be able to play other music and possibly some karaoke as the evening wears on. Oh! And to be able to use it for toasting the bride and groom.

Because the wedding is this weekend (!), I started researching and shopping. I normally take my time and do a lot of research before I jump into something, but I felt I'd better just get something here. I used some info from Karaoke-Tutor.com as sort of a guide. This is what I have on its way:

Amplifier: Crown Audio CRXLS1500
Mixer: Behringer XENYX 1202FX
Speakers: Behringer EUROLIVE B215XL

I thought I would use my laptop (ACER Aspire V5) to play the music, with a CD/DVD player as a backup. I found KaraFun Player as an option for karaoke.

Will this set up do the job? It doesn't need to be professional, I just need it to work! :o Also, is there somewhere I can determine which cables I need so that I have them on hand when the equipment gets here?

Thank you!
