I loved the sound of the Sonus Faber Concertino's Domus and am looking to build a system around them (I have no components right now).
I'm not sure about the number of channels I want and am having a bit of a dilemma deciding between two concertino domus's and either two concerto home or two wall domus (saw both of these on auction) to go with the concertino's. Though, if I loose the bids I don't think I'll buy more than two speakers.
Also, I wonder how the sound will be affected if I get 4 channel sources but only have two speakers (leaving room for later expansion), or is that a stupid idea? Asking mainly because my local AV store is closing before the auctions are and has a few nice primare sources for great prices. Darn the luck, looks like I'll have to pick two or four channel before the speaker auctions close.
Yes, I know I'm trying to be cheap on this high end high fi...just looking to get the best sound I can for the lowest price.
Has anyone had any experience putting a system close to this together?
