If this Halcro amplier is teh FINAST ever as proclaimed on teh front page of this very magazine a few years back, and this company has teh philosophy of less distortion, which is very logical and true. How on earth can anotehr reviewer of this same magazine then review 3% distorted Cd players, and other tube amps, with horendous spces, and proclaim how great they are...two completely different directions, for supposedly teh same goal of the best reproduction of teh original recording...me thinks the ones who love distortion systems, are either DEAF, don't really know what they are doing, or both. Halcro was teh BEST, with no distortion, how can say a VTL with horrendous distortions, or the Audio Research beast, be so wonderful, when all they are are a horrible piece of electronics, when compared to Halcro....can't have perfect REPRODCUTION if the equipment is making it's own signals out of what is put in, and not just reproducing what is given them. http://www.halcro.com/technology_overview.asp
