Last January, I grabbed this set of the clear vinyl 45 RPM Classic Records Somethin' Else LP's (actually, more like SP's - 'short playing') and decided to track how the clear vinyl held up.
(I'm going to do the same this year with their release of "So.")
I've played it once each week for the past year and it has survived the ordeal just fine.
I'm happy to report the discs sound about the same as the first time through.
(I also have only used carbon fiber brushing to keep them pretty, no washing of any sort, otherwise - even when new.)
Other than having to get up and change records alot, I am well pleased and prefer the mono versions to the stereo mix. The records themselves have acquired no pops/clicks, either. I do admit to feeling like I need a little vacation from Somethin' Else for a few weeks.
Nice product line. If only the ink in the labels and the colors of the packaging weren't magnetized...
