I recently listened to the PrimaLuna ProLogue Premium integrated amp with Quad 22L2 speakers (bass tamed with foam bung in port). Quite magical sound - vocals and acoustic instruments - for $2300 + $1900.
From the reviews, I have to assume the magic came from the EL34 tube amp. The L-series Quad speakers have received very little notice. Are there other small floorstanding speakers in the $2000 range that also might mate well with the PrimaLuna? Thanks.
