Hi, I'm a home recordist. I have some studio reference monitors that are pretty darn good but are a 2.1 system. I haven't really had a viable studio in quite a few years, but am trying to put one together since moving to Thailand.
Someone I can no longer get in touch with, bought some Audiophile quality monoblock preamps made here under the management of a guy from the US, I believe. Does anyone know about these, this guy, or how to get in touch with him?
I have 6 nice Spica TC-60 speakers, and a BagEnd Infrasub 18 sub. I would like to put a 5.1 or 6.1 system together, and need amps. I had a great sounding system with two Spicas and the BagEnd, Before leaving the US I bought 4 more Spicas. While it was a 2.1 system then, I had a Audio by Van Alstine which was a reworked Hafler. Something called a Transcendence II or something like that (sorry it's buried in storage and I can't remember the exact name) I doubt I could get 2 more of these, so I'm looking for a good - to great - set of amps to use here in Thailand. If anyone knows anything please let me know. Thanks - Buzz
