i'm kind of embarrassed to ask this, but you know...

anyway, i got my new amp and speaker just arrived today...anyway the speaker connection things are different than what i'm used to...they basically screw out...i'd been used to the ones with a little black or red plastic lever thing that you push down, then put the wire in....i'd also been using these gold nub things that went in the holes and they were hard to fit under the screw of the cambridge amp connection ports...

should i just put the raw wire in there and screw down? sorry i'm sure this seems super dumb but i've never had these kind before.
