Hello everyone:
I am hoping that I can get some input into a few questions that I have. My father has two reel/reel decks: One is a Concord 444 recorder/player; which works well. He also has a TEAC auto reverse deck which has been out of commission for awhile. I told him that I would transfer some his old reel/reel tape to CD (I have a Mackie 12 Channel board) and a background in A/V, Audio/Video production...so I have a pretty good idea of what I am doing; but wanted to get some input from this board.
1) Does anyone have any access to the original Concord 444 manual? I haven't been able to find one online yet.
2) What deck(s) would you reccommend for someone as myself who; with my background, has some old reel/reels to transfer to CD...I've looked periodically at TEAC,Tascam(have Tascam gear in my setup already) on ebay...would you reccomend buying off of ebay or ?
Any input would be appreciated.
