Ok, so I just jumped in to the entery level vinyl set up thing and ordered a Brio R and RP1 w/performance pack - they're on the truck for delivery today.
Got some nice advice in here last week regarding speakers on a +/- $500 budget and for a small room. Slee ZZ recommended Mags and if I had the space, this is definitely how I'd go (had a pair 20-25 yrs ago). Slee ZZ and Commy both recommended Wharfdale 10.2's and if the sound is as described, they're what I'm looking for. Unfortunately, all the dealers seem to be outta stock at the moment. That's ok though, I can wait.
BUT MusicDirect has the Warfdale EVO2-20's for sale for $480/pr ($1200 list). Should I jump? Any other suggestions?
