There was an earlier post asking to compare the Rega rp1 to a specific turntable. What would be a good vintage equivalent to the Rega rp1? In other words, what would be a tough call in terms of quality comparison? I currently have a Pioneer PL-400 w/ a Grade Black by the way. It's currently being driven by an early 2000s Onkyo Dolby Digital amp (low - midgrade w/ about 100 watts/channel). I'm thinking of getting a NAD 753 or using my NAD 7120 instead of the Onkyo.
Any thoughts?
