I recently was the victim of a Lightning strike to my apt. building and my Monsoon MM:1000's were blown and rendered screechers 
I haven't heard better out of a pair of computer speakers and just got my insurance check for them valued at 230 dollars still which was music to my ears. I'm looking for input to spend up to that 230 on some new speakers. I went out and bought the bose companion 3 series 2 speakers and I'm not that impressed by the low end sound and honostly downright disapointed in them. For those of you that have or still run Monsoon Speakers I'm looking for something with the same sound capabilities / size to replace them with.
