While I was looking for the original artwork for the booklet that goes with Stereophile's Test CD 2, so we can repress the CD, I came across this shot of Richard that I had taken at the sessions for our "Poem" LP/CD. (Headphone buffs should note he is using Sennheiser HD420SLs driven by a JA-built class-A headphone amp in a RadioShack box.) With only a couple of breaks, Richard has edited every word you read in Stereophile from July 1985 to the current day. He was also the magazine's music editor 1987-1996.
