All:

First and foremost, to those who have implemented room treatments for audiophile purposes, what differences in your sound did you notice?

On to room treatments specifically: I do have the ability to do as I wish with the room I am using for audio... any recommendations on articles online on how to do this? Or guidance from direct experience? I have seen gallery pictures of room treatments where folks put up off-white panels in the upper corners of the room (they are triangular), as well as various rectangular sound traps.... please point me to more information as this method, getting a better DAC, and speaker placement just may net the sufficient benefits to enjoy the creek and epos.

My room itself measures 10' wide by 14' deep, by 7.5' high and carpeted. Front (where speakers are) wall is solid as well as back wall, wall to the right is solid but sliding glass door, wall to left is mostly open to the dining room... So I don't have the perfect box enclosure and am not even sure what impact that open side has and how to treat it.

I myself am in the pursuit of a deeper soundstage and just won't have the budget to replace my beloved little Creek for awhile..and many have recommended acoustic room treatments...

Listen On!
