I'm not new to Hi-Fi but I've recently upgraded various components in my system. I noticed while listening to some vinyl that words with the letter "S" sound a little hissy.
But the odd thing is that other parts of the song, or even a different track on the record, it doesn't happen. I'm not sure what to make of it. If I hear a garbled "S" sound in a specific song, it's always there. But (as I mentioned above), other words with a strong "S" in them sound okay....even within the same song.
I've checked my speaker cables, inter-connects, etc and I'm not sure what to make of it.
Most of my vinyl sounds good no matter what's being sung, but if I hear anything out of the ordinary, it'll be a word with an "S" in it. I hope this makes sense!!
