Robert Hartley says the company is no garage operation gonna be around a long time, footnote from JA says March 2008 company no longer in existence....hmmmmmmm Now how can what Robert Hartley claims or ponders, or says is so can be beleived? And why would he make such a claim in reviewing a transformer, does that mean he is also a fiancial consultant, did he see the books of the company, (impossible if not public probably) why would he make a claim that since some 3 guys build a transformer in a box, they will be around a long time. I guess many audiophile companies come and go, cus' they just do. Then you are stuck with this month's "best" most incredible sounding ever box, with zero support if it dies. Audio Alchemy, ? Sonic Frontiers? so many "best" ever, poof into extinction. Robert Hartley has lost his credibility....Wonder what he thought of Enron or MCI? McIntosh, Marantz, VPI (but discontinued products, fade?) Audio by VanAlstine, Audio Research, all going and going and going, Legacy Audio....decades of great stuff. How bout' everytime some bunch of dudes decide to introduce the best ever this month, you post the finacials, if ya can get em, so that when ya spend thousands on a box of parts, you might think twice, for future support of the pricey stuff. It may be just audio, but other things do matter, like support for problems, etc. Again JA brings it to reality, with noting the demise of the company. More reviewers like JA, less fluff like Fremer and Hartley, glowing praise on stuff, not even proven it has a life after a few years.
