I am using a Musical Fidelity M3i amplifer with Psb Image T6 speakers, and am getting pretty good bass for most listening, but they roll off at about 40 Hz.
I am wondering what kind of subwoofer would work best with them to extend the bass for listening to pipe organ music, big kettledrums, etc. that go really low.
I guess I need a subwoofer that has an adjustment for its upper frequency limit so I can try to keep the sub and main speakers from overlapping too much. Also, this amp does not have a subwoofer output, so I guess the signal for the sub will have to come from the amp output terminals.
The room is medium-sized, about 12 x 24 feet.
Any suggestions?
