I have now listened to my new cables burn in, and I am very surprised at the difference from my old Audioquests. The Supra's are much more pleasant and coherent, much less "in my face", but with a lot of details. The LF are very deep and round, and less boomy. It's amazing that a $20 per meter speaker cable can be so good. I don't hear any difference when connecting/disconnecting the shield to my amplifier's ground, but maybe I will when I get my new shoeboxes on Wednesday. They are more detailed and forward than my present speakers, so I feel it may even things out a bit, with a decent increase in fidelity, at least.
Both the cables and the speakers I am waiting for, get great reviews, so I feel like a child on Xmas day. Can't wait to get my hands on those sweet little boxes!
