So I have recently come into ownership of a Thorens TD160 mk1. After reviewing sites like the analogue dept, etc, I have decided to embarque on a restoration. I am pretty much following this guide: http://www.theanalogdept.com/thorens_tweaks.htm
The only major thing left unaddresed is a new cartridge/stylus. FYI, I still have the original arm (and a marantz pm5004 amplifier and a pair of bose series iv loudspeakers.) Any suggestions would be highly welcomed. I was kinda leaning towards this:http://www.lpgear.com/product/LPGAT95SA.html but that's as much I'd like to spend. Will this even work properly with my arm, i.e. is it a good compliance match?
