Although I don't own and did not own 8-track tapes, I am of that generation and so is my stereo equipment. I want to upgrade and looking for informed suggestions. Consider:
I have a healthy CD, album and cassette collection. So whatever I move to next must accommodate all three formats as well as be bluetooth friendly.
To give you an idea of what I have now:
*Pro-ject 1 Expression Turntable, which probably doesn't need replacing
*Technics SA-EX110 Receiver
*Nakamichi CR-2 - 2 Head Cassette Deck
*Technics SL-PD887 5 CD Disc Changer
*A pair of B&W 200 Series speakers
In retrospect, these components were not top of the line, but they served me well.
I don't have a budget, because I have no idea what the market is today for medium-high stereo equipment. Nor do I know where to be shopping. That's what I am also looking to this forum for.
So, I seek recommendations on specific components and where to buy.
Thanks
Mike
