Anyone have experience using a toslink signal booster & if so, how did it affect the quality of the original signal (good or bad)? I'm thinking of doing a long toslink run from an iMac (with the signal split so that I can route the signal to 2 different rooms- one about 12' & another about 35'), and was curious whether I could use something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Digital-Optical-Toslink-Signal-Amplifier/dp/B000I94FRM/ref=sr_1_11?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1314328251&sr=1-11 without compromising the sound quality.
