Goofy list prices aren't limited to audio products, but I'm wondering what the rationale is when giving a 1.5m length of high(est?) - end interconnect a price of $20,384? Baloney like that would prevent me from purchacing the product even if I could afford it. $384? Why not a more "even" $385 or $400? At that stratospheric price rounding off to $20k, $20,500, or even $21,000 makes more sense. Do they think the 384 makes 20k seem smaller? Perhaps. Spending that much on a short cable might be in search of gullible customers.

Tara, for one example, uses even prices which I can appreciate. I have more respect for a company that sells a product at $500, $1000, or $10k than pissing around with the "99" BS of, say, $499 etc.

What are your thoughts on this very minor complaint?
