Just got some tubes for rolling into the phono stage...some NOS Telefunken ECC83 (12AX7s). Came in a box of confetti....
These are truly tasty Tele's.....considerably more detail, sweet mids, smooth highs, greater transparency. I could hear the improvements the second the stylus hit the vinyl...oh yeah. 
Finally see what the fuss is about.
They mesh really nicely with my "new" Conrad-Johnson PV12 preamp driving the "unreviewable" Jolida 801 power amp.
