I just got a small (12watts channel) Yaqin (Chinese) Amplifier and it sounds awesome in my small apartment with my also small Denon Bookshelf Speakers...
I would like to give this little amplifier the best tubes possible (I cannot afford $120 NOS Tubes), but would like your suggestions for this amp with 4 - EL84`s (6BQ5`s) and 2 - 12AX7`s...
As a guitar player I know of some of the characteristics I want in a Guitar Amp Tube, but I`m sure these could be much different when talking about Home Tube Stereo Amplifiers...
I would appreciate your thoughts and suggestions on upgrading these Chinese tubes that came with the amp...
