Walking into DeVore Fidelity was like walking into a playhouse, was like walking into a jungle, was like walking into an audio museum, was just really really cool.

John shared with me a few pieces of his collection of vintage audio gear, including 70s-era Luxman T-12 tuner, Marantz Model 18, and Yamaha CR-1000.

"I love vintage gear," John said. "The '70s, for audio, were just fearless." It seems, to me, that John takes this same fearlessness into his own speaker design.
