Just up front, I'm running a 360 watt RMS JL Audio amp, pushing components - Lanzar OPTIBT44 Optidrive 600 Watt Heavy Duty Aluminum Bullet Super Tweeters, and Pioneer TS-M650PRO 6-3/4" PRO Series High Efficiency 500 watt Mid-Range Car Speakers. The specs on the tweeters say 102dB (1w/1m) sensitivity. My amp is turned up only 1/3 of the way. The tweeters cut out(off) when I crank up the sound, then if I lower it they come back on. Is this them shutting off at 102db? If so, where do I find some tweeters that will get crazy loud without cutting out?
