Submitted by Reptiles00 on Sun, 04/30/2006 - 13:27 Hi All, I have just aquired a Velleman VAA-70 Mk II amplifier. I am trying to find out the correct input tubes for this amplifier. I originally thought 6GH8A or 7199s but the installed tubes (with no labeling) do not test as either on a tube tester. I searched all over the net and only 1 amplifier on a Netherlands EBay was the amp I have. http://cgi.ebay.nl/Velleman-VAA-70-MK-II-Stereo-Buizen-Eindversterker_W0QQitemZ7606915590QQcategoryZ19642QQcmdZViewItem I have ordered new JJ EL34s for the amp but want to replace the input tubes also. Anyone know the correct tubes? Thanks, Don L
