Just finished reading Stephen's "The Audio Geek ' . I enjoyed the read , but one thing bothered me , it's something that I keep seeing . How the audio industry has failed to attract a younger audience . Whenever I read something to that effect I think to myself , what about trying to attrack the middle aged and older folks , you know the people that still appreciate the finer things in life , and will likely have more disposable income .

I know I must sound like an old fuddy-duddy but do companies really want to spend there advertising resources trying to attrack and audience that would rather obtain a free MP3 download than a well recorded LP or CD and don't give a rats rear end about the quality and refinement of a great playback system ?
