So I live in a fairly small apartment and I've decided to finally use my Audioengine A2s for my computer, Wii U and Pro-Ject Debut Carbon. In order to do this without buying a receiver (I'm moving in a few months so want to wait until I've relocated) I'll be running the following setups:
Wii U > RCA to 3.5 converter > 3.5 jack on speakers
Laptop > 3.5 jack
Debut Carbon > Bellari VP130 > RCA jacks
My concern is I heard that the Audioengine A2 RCA jacks become output jacks for a subwoofer when a 3.5 is connected. Would this damage my preamp if the RCA on the speakers became an output and tried to feed a signal to it?
