Altitudo Audio Room at Montreal Audiofest 2026

In the above video interview on our YouTube channel, Robert Schryer speaks with a rep from Winnipeg’s Altitudo Audio about the equipment shown in the two systems on active display in this room.

System 1: This system's presentation in the Altitudo Audio Room at Montreal Audiofest 2026 sounded huge, with gobs of energy, a holographic soundstage teeming with microdetail (even at low volume), and dynamic swings that could be startling. The system played loud without any hint of compression or distortion—just clean, unfatiguing, balanced sound all across the frequency range. Bass was well-defined while highs were sweet, extended, and airy.

System 2: While this setup's presentation lacked the scale of the Audiovector-fronted one, it still delivered a deep, transparent soundstage, bold imaging, fine instrumental texture, and big, physically impactful bass. Bass went deeper, in fact, than that of System 1, or seemed to. Also remarkable was the soundstage's width, which could be adjusted to suit the room via a controller on the back of each speaker.
