Grimm Audio at Montreal Audiofest 2026

In the above video interview on our YouTube channel, Robert Schryer speaks with Lemay Audio founder François Lemay about all the Grimm Audio gear shown in this room at Montreal Audiofest 2026.

Bonus coverage continues! The Grimm Audio system in this room at Montreal Audiofest 2026 was all about seamlessness, coherence, and balance—all that, and a big rich sound within a spacious, many-layered soundstage that was deep and stable with realistic tone and well-defined imaging throughout. There was also a virility to its presentation that made the music sound confident, solidly anchored, and rhythmically spry.

There's something to be said about using shorter signal paths (sans interconnects and cables) for integrated components and stages that are designed to work optimally together to achieve a desired sound—something that was achieved with this Grimm Audio setup. You just can't get that sort of functional synergy or playback precision from disparate parts made by designers with different visions and products that weren't voiced together.
