Description: Tube preamplifer with separate power supply. Individual input for two phono sources, auxiliary inputs for tuner, aux, 2 tape loops. Full switching amongst left, right, stereo reverse, and mono. Mute switch. Switch to remove 12dB of gain. Switch to connect phono directly to volume control, bypassing all extraneous circuitry and switching. Tube Complement: Preamplifier: 12 × ECC88/6DJ8/6922; Power supply: typically 2 × 6L6WGC (or 5881), 1 × 12AT7. Input Impedance: 50k ohms (line); phono inputs have front-panel selectable impedances of 47k, 10k, 100, 30, and 10 ohms. Output Impedance: 1000 ohms (main and tape outputs). Frequency Response: 5Hz–30kHz, ±0.25dB, –3dB points below 1Hz and above 100kHz (line), 30Hz–40kHz, ±0.25dB (phono). THD: 0.01% at 2V RMS output, 20Hz–20kHz (typically 0.002% in midband). S/N Ratio: 90dB (line). Rated Outputs: 2V RMS 5Hz–30kHz into 60k ohms (maximum main output capability of 60V RMS at 0.5% THD at 1kHz).
